BUT How that that when i read the memory chip on another working card ,also pm25lv512 the dump is diferent from the bios rom file that i can found on the internet? I left here in atechement files that i read with external programmer and a rom file from internet for the working hd2600pro. they are totaly diferent. What can i doo to resurect the hd3650 agp?

Is it this card?

IMG-0407.jpg

I just got one, if it's of any use I can dump my bios chip from GPU-Z next week if it's possible.

Ah, shevalier beat me to it 😀

You should try booing your Windows with a PCI graphic card.

Searching a Nexgen Nx586 with FPU, PM me if you have one. I have some Athlon MP systems and cookies.

But meanwhile, can you boot your PC at least with a PCI graphic card? If so:
- Connect your PCI card
- Set your BIOS to boot from PCI first
- Add your broken AGP card

It could let you boot to Windows this way. If so, try reflashing the Radeon BIOS.

If you set your bios to boot from the PCI card, your dead AGP will just hopefully sit there doing nothing. Then you'll see if you have access to it to reflash it...you can try some BIOS linked by shevalier.

Switching VGA BIOSes was "easy" in the days before the Geforce FX series.
All it needed was a compatible BIOS and taking care of the stored speed settings (GPU, RAM).
There even were utilities to modify these settings.

By the mid 2000s, however, things got waaay more complicated.
The BIOS contained so many little settings like GPU core voltage, serial numbers, vendor IDs etc, making BIOS switching much more delicate.

What has this to do with my problem?

I don't understand your question. 🤷‍♂️

I was trying to point out why BIOS flashing is nolonger as easy as it used to be.

Ie, someone may needs the absolutely correct VGA BIOS to fix/upgrade a graphics card.
A VGA BIOS of a similar model perhaps isn't good enough.

Edit: But maybe I misunderstood what you're trying to do. 🤷‍♂️
Your first posting was hard for me to read, also because of the missing punctuation.

Good question. What is your hardware problem, exactly? 🤷‍♂️

The bios chip itself is faulty. i need a dump but preferably what is done with external programmer. Why ? because when i read bios on another card(hd2600pro) the dump from external programmer and the dump what i have downloaded from internet they are not even close to be the same. everything is in the first post.
