Hello,
I'm not sure how best to describe it, so I went with "garbage" or "snow."
I've got a dedicated DOS machine (P133) that I've recently been using after not using it for a few months. I've noticed some "garbage pixels" on the screen when playing games, usually just 2-3 pixels that are totally white regardless of what the actual color should be. The locations of the pixels seem completely random, but tend to be toward the center of the screen. Once they show up, they stay there until the screen is updated (switching to another screen in a game, etc.), but eventually come back. It's not an issue with the monitor afaict, since they are not there all the time.
In such a case I'd suspect that the video card is dying, but are there any other parts that could be causing this? Faulty RAM?
I can take a picture if it helps, since it seems to occur pretty reliably.
