Hey all,

Hoping you fine folks can help out. I've started building my Windows 98 SE machine and after a rough start, I finally got it to boot and get to Desktop....

Until I attempted to install the Voodoo 3 2000 driver from the CD. After I installed it, it asked to restart the computer which I did, but anytime it gets to the desktop the computer automatically restarts, not even showing a BSOD.

Being a idiot and new, not sure what I should do to troubleshoot this or fix it? Things i've tried so far to no avail:

Removed the RAM sticks individually to ensure its not them.

Things I've tried that 'worked":
Booted into Safe Mode and removed the driver. Then restarted and 98SE worked perfectly fine.

So I appreciate any help if possible! The rest of the components for reference:

512MB SDR UDIMM RAM

Hi-Val 16X CD-Rom drive
