Hi
I am looking for a short list of decent cards to look for to use in my 386sx-25/dos/win3.11 16-bit ISA system
Something that I could find on ebay or something without waiting a long time. Or needing a 2nd mortgage to buy.
I do not want top of the the line or the fastest ever made.
Just a good basic card that could run MS flight similar 2 to 5 with out looking like a slide show. Runs WIn 3.11 pretty good, to play things like video pinball. Not Doom at 100 fps!
I did a quick search in here and got 603 pages of results ! I am not sure how to narrow down that search so I thought I'd just post another thread about this.
Some help would be most appreciated.

PS I get very different results in ebay if I use isa video card vs isa graphics card.

From what I can gather from the requirements for ms flight sim 2-4 any vga card will do. version 5 however will not be a very good fit for your system, If it runs at all.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Thanks everyone, those replies were very quick !
I'm currently rocking a 8-bit CGA Hercules, which is generally useless for what I want to do. But it boot on almost anything so it is good for testing and early setups.
But want something with 15 pins instead of 9.

So a vote for Trident 9000's. thanks
any other contenders, or better ones I should stay away from?
