I was at my local parts recycler and I found a GEFORCE MX400 PCI for 5 bucks. When I tried it on my test bench it has the vertical lines when the windows 98 screen loads, and when I install the drivers it blue screens (no surprise). I was thinking this is likely due to bad ram and thought maybe I could fix it? Or it might be fun to try at least.
On the ram it has the following information
Hynix
HY57V641620HG
0150A T-6
And there's a total of 8 modules.
On the card it has the following part number
180-p0036-0000-a
Model: P36
I found this data sheet,
https://pdf.datasheetcatalog.com/datasheet/hy … 641620HGT-7.pdf
4 Banks x 1M x 16Bit Synchronous DRAM..
4x1 = 4 megs x 8 = 32 meg card?
Would something like this work?

I honestly have no idea. If its 32 megs, could I upgrade it to 64? Is that even possible? Where do you find parts like this? Thank you for your time
