Found this one recently and hope someone could identify it.
Looks like a daughter board, made by console manufacturer 3DO. Somehow, like a v1 card without video output.

I was going to say it looks similar to the voodoo 2 for the iMac, but I suspect you are on the right track, it is a 3dfx card for an arcade machine.

I wonder if that elusive 2d Picasso 540 could be replaced?
The fact that 3dfx overdrive has 8mb drives for some further action. I should pinout the 20 pins socket to see if it match the regular output of a Voodoo card.
