I've got a Green 753 P5 laptop with Cirrus Logic CL-GD7543 graphics, with 2MB of video memory, onboard. Apparently, some laptops with this chip have video stretching/scaling support, but this particular version, though it is listed in the laptop's manual as being activated with Fn-F11, doesn't seem to do anything. Also, the Cirrus Logic SWITCHER.EXE TSR claims that ctrl-shift-E will stretch the screen, but that seems not to work.
I found the datasheet for the 7543 here https://www.vgamuseum.info/index.php/cpu/item … 453c0ec66fbd3fc.
I have attached a copy of my BIOS (Phoenix NoteBIOS 4.0) to this post, as well.
Any suggestions are welcome!
