I have an Alienware M17x R2 with dual HD 5870s in crossfire everything worked great until I repasted it. I did end up running the Crossfire cable wrong and ended up with it strained in a tight spot I believe I damaged it. The computer will boot and run just fine but if I run Furmark now I get a Black Line on the left and a bit of artifacting (and at first a rolling shutter I no longer get that issue). Now if I just run one GPU in the left slot and run Furmark for 10 minutes everything is fine on both GPUs as I swapped the heatsink and moved the card. Or if I disable crossfire with both GPUs installed everything works fine. So to make a long story short is one of the MXM slots bad or one of the GPUs or is it just the cable? Thanks for any help.
