Hi all, I was gifted a bunch of old core 2 duo era Lenovo Thinkcentre PCs.
Thinking of turning one into an XP era retro gaming system. Unfortunately they are SFF which limits me to low profile cards.
Been out of the scene for quite a while so any suggestions would be appreciated.

The systems themselves all use generic connections so moving them to full size ATX cases is also an option. But for simplicities sake I'd like keep them in the original case.

No clue about team red, but as for Nvidia...you'll want to look into Geforce GT (no -X) cards to find low profile variants; and Maxwell is the last chip that XP drivers exist for, so one of those would be ideal. While a Maxwell "GT 945A"exists, I've never seen one and have no clue about its form factor... alternatively, the previous generation should still be plenty fast for XP - I've used Kepler-based, low profile GT 730 and 710 cards and they were fine.

From best to worst:

1) GeForce GTX 950 - last officially supported card
2) GeForce GTX 750 Ti
3) Radeon 7750 / GeForce GTX 650
4) GeForce GTS 450 or very specific low-profile GeForce GTS 250 from Sparkle
5) Radeon 5750

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
