Hi,

I have a generic SIS315E graphics card (AGP) that doesn't output correct resolutions for their respective modes... Or rather, this is the case for at least some of the resolutions. What this means is that at certain resolutions, I get 'out of range' or similar messages on LCDs. An example is the POST screen, which does not display, but then DOS does display properly after POSTing.

I've tested BIOS 1.13.03 from the VGA Museum's page, and that did not help.

Here is a photo of my card:

If anyone has a different BIOS I could test, I'd be grateful. If the BIOS is larger than 512mbit (64kb), that's fine, I can desolder the 26-pin socket and install a 30-pin socket for a larger EEPROM. I've already replaced the OTP EPROM which came with it (A276308A) and installed a W27C512 which worked fine.

Thanks

You can dump the BIOS with NSSI.

cool - are you able to dump the BIOS? You should get a 64KB file.
