Hi, I recently purchased a FX5500 pci on Ali and it seems that my Tekram P5M4-M motherboard does not recognize it. Doing a little research it seems very likely that the board is too old for this GPU. What I am not clear about is the reason 🙁 or if, by some divine luck, there is any chance of making this gpu work on this mobo. Can someone shed some light on the matter?

There is a known issue with those cards - they need 3.3 volts from the PCI slot, something that many older motherboards do not provide. Re: What PCI graphic for specific setup
