Hello. After finally getting hold of Gabriel Knight 2 i have a problem which seems not to resolve. The game starts nicely with the sound inte the intro films, but after Gabriel gets up from the couch I only hear the clock ticking. I suspect there ought to be some background music but I haven't heard any, inside or outside the house.

And there's more problem: I can hear the clock ticking and Gabriels voice as long as I do not open the bag or go outside. If I do that, everything becomes silent and stays that way.

I'm running it on Win98 SE, and it is the DOS installation. My sound card is Sound Blaster (model ct4810). My resource file says:

videoDrv = VESA.DRV
soundDrv = GENMIDI.DRV
audioDrv = DACBLAST.DRV
joyDrv = NO
cmd = GK2DOS
mouseDrv = NONE
memoryDrv = NONE
minMemory = 1600k
brightness = 0
language = 1
minCPU = 486
cd = YES
smartdrv = YES

cdSpeed=2
resAUD=CD:\
resSFX=CD:\
resMAP=CD:\;C:\SPEL\GK2DOS
rescdisc=CD:\
patchDir=C:\SPEL\GK2DOS;CD:\
movieDir=CD:\movies
robot=CD:\robot
discID=GK2R1
CD:=H:;

I have tried DOSbox but it doesn't work (or work satisfacory).

Anyone got a clue? Please help me!
