Hi
When i try and run this in DOS i seem to get a kinda garbled screen! Well i see a little bit at the top and the rest of the screen is blank! When i try and launch a game i know its running cos i can hear the sound! But barely no video! Can anyone explain?! :-?

More details are required. What version of DOS are you using, and what sort of video hardware does the computer have? Are you using the last version of Genecyst?
(Of course Genecyst is entirely inferior to any number of other Genesis emulators currently available, but that's a separate point.)
hi i m running dos 7.10. i have an isa ati mach64 with 2 mb ram. specs are pentium 233mmx with 64 mb ram
Do you mean you're trying to run it while Windows 95 is running, or have you restarted in MS-DOS mode?
does the same thing in dos or windows 98se

Oh. This is because it started in a video mode out of your monitor's bounds
I believe one of the function keys also change resolutions
