Whenever i play MortaL Kombat 2 DOS version i only seem to be able to get the music but no sound effects. I have an ISA SoundBlaster 16 card and i select that in the setup screen but i get the same result!!! I try selecting AWE32 option too (cos i also have a MIDI daughter board installed) and the card doesnt get recognised at all! - OK maybe that was lame and clutching at straws but i thought i could blag it cos i have a MIDI card. But anyway, does anyone else have the same problems? I am running this on a genuine DOS/Windows machine ie not DOS box.

IIRC, you must use low dma (1) with the MK2. This game isn't working with the high dma (5) settings.

hi my soundblaster is set to low channel dma 1 and high channel dma 5 (whatever that means!) the dma option in the game itself is set to 1
