Hi. I've loaded VDMSound but still get the following error message - "The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:d33d IP:0000 0P:ff ff ff ff 40" Any suggestions? Thanks.

Not sure. You may have better luck with MK Trilogy:

Or, if you just need to install the game, try DOSBox. (http://dosbox.sf.net)

Thanks Stiletto. I've downloaded Dosbox but could you please tell me how I install the game?
Read the documentation. In a nutshell: You need to mount as many drives and types as you need, i.e,
mount c c:\
mount d d:\ -t cdrom -label <label>
ETC.
Sorry Oldbie, but I don't get it! :depressed: You'll probably think I'm thick but I don't know hardly anything about DOS! I read the README page and typed in different commands but nothing worked! :exclamation:
Hi. The DOS installation asks me to configure my sound but won't recognise my driver in DOS. However, if I configure the sound in Windows using VDMS there's no problem.
