In the original Descent, I load a saved game, die in the game, and, when I try to load the saved game again, a crash occurs. In the crash, the main menu music sounds like ahhhhhhhhhhh and does not contiune. The version of the Descent shareware is 1.4, April 95. Was this loading crash fixed in the full version? I have the latest shareware version of this game, this crashing problem should have been fixed by this version.

Ok, if you currently own any DOS games that use the 3-D engine, you may have problems getting the game to work depending on your classic system specs. If you have problems with getting the 3-D engine game started, you must check that you DO not have more than 64 MB of RAM, if you do, remove the excess sticks, and you can get any 3-D engine DOS game to work again!

Descent
Descent 2
Tomb Raider
Terminator

That's sounds like nonsense, but he may be right. Maybe replacing the dos extender stub would help.
