I have XP and the music and voices won't work for this game. I've tried changing the options settings in the game menu and adjusting the sound menu in the control panel. has anyone played this before? any ideas? my computer knowledge is very limited so you might have to translate the answer from tech speak as I am a computer civillian. Thanks- sorry to annoy everyone.

I figured out how to make it work. Um wow. I just saw something that I did not want to see. I guess now I have a new question- or questions. my dad's internet history has some disturbing (well, they're just porn sites but when you find it on your dad's computer it's a little...what is the word I'm looking for- wierd is the only one i can come up with right now) websites on it- is there anyway to stop your computer from recording your activity? I'd like to prevent my mom from seeing it if she hasn't already. i know, it's just porn, but man- when it's your dad and you're a girl....I don't know. it kinda freaks you out. oh yeah, and it there anyway to tell what time the sites were visited?
You should talk with your parents about that.

heh. I fix other people's computers all the time and constantly find Porn on their computers. It's amazing......and also really helpful since I back it up for trading purposes later. it doesn't interest me in the slightest but unfortunately I'm a pack rat. 🙁
IIRC, there are programs to wipe out the history on exit. I'm thinking TWEAKUI does this.
DosFreak is right. TweakUI is free from Microsoft.
Also, go to Control Panel > Internet options and delete History, but I don't know whether your parents will like you messing with their data.

@Luthien: Just to make you feel a little bit less awkward about it:
The fact, that your dad's computer's history contains links to porn sites doesn't necessary mean, that he visited them actively or on purpose.
Many less respectable Info and download sites include lots of links, pop ups and banners to porn sites to gain some money. If you visit just one of these "info sites" you will be sometimes automatically redirected to one or two porn sites - really annoying.
