What do you need drivers for?? Put the BLASTER env into autoexec.bat
or configure the games manually if they don't use the blaster variable.
Standard jumpers should set the sb16 to irq5 dma1/hdma5.

I think I need drivers because for every stupid periferic device under DOS you need a driver, at least that is what I know.
But you know more than me, then if I write in the autoexec.bat the following:
Set blaster= A220 I5 D1
that would be enough for the blaster to be recognized?
SB16 doesn't need drivers because almost all games already have the SB16 drivers. SoundBlaster was the standard.
The Audigy requires DOS drivers because they threw in DOS compatibility as an afterthought.....a very bad afterthough.
Hi, Dosfreak.
This is to tell you that some months ago I installed a Sound Blaster 16 and now the game runs without any problem.
The only thing is that I forgot to write the report here. Sorry for the delay.
You were right. Thank you very much.
