I seem to remember there being options that needed to be on the command line to run F-19 with Adlib or other sound devices, but I can't find any documentation anywhere that says what it was. Anyone know?

Command line switches:
/J --> Use joystick
/NJ --> Don't use joystick
/GE --> EGA, 16 colours
/GM --> MCGA/VGA, 256 colours
/GC --> CGA, 4 colours
/GT --> Tandy, 16 colours
/GH --> Hercules, mono
/D0 --> Low detail
/D1 --> Medium detail
/D2 --> High detail
/Ax --> Uses sound driver x. x is the first letter of the sound driver.
Sound drivers:
ISOUND.EXE --> IBM PC
TSOUND.EXE --> Tandy
BSOUND.EXE --> Innovation sound card.
These are the switches listed in my F-19 handbook. My F-19 is the spectrum version, so the PC section of the manual is not very long. Also, there were later versions with more sound drivers (ASOUND for Adlib?) so your switches and drivers may differ.
I have traveled across the universe and through the years to find Her.

You are a savior. PC speaker was driving me insane!
Thank you.
