i mostly want to play defenders of the crown and pirates but i cant to seem to get my stystem working. says it cant find the sdl.dll when i try to install and zip it. below is my system.. pretty sure this computer is more then capable for old c64 games and thanks for your help and great website

i just dont have a sound card or speakers for this as that shouldnt be a problem... i now got it working and on to the next question... if i wanted to play pirates as it is supported and i dont have the disk anymore is that doable if i DL the game as i just DLed it as well

Illegal downloads are often full of weird bugs due to errors in the re-packaging process. It is difficult enough to debug real DOSBox error without having to combat errors in the games itself, so don't expect much help.

If you can find a legitimate download (e.g. a demo) of the game that you want to install, please come back, post a link to the legal version, and we will do our best to help you.

kk much thanks as i believe it is a legal version as it came from a friend that still has his c64 and he put the programs on to me and sent them over as i am still waiting for a few other favorites of mine
