Ok, Plenty of power and memory, capable audio and video. Even with the overhead of XP and any tools needed, you still have plenty of power left to run old DOS titles in a XP environment.

In that case, I'd say it's running as well as it possibly can. As I said before, it still has the memory problem the original game had, but Mok's executable makes the game much more stable. A few hours is obviously much better.
If I understand it correctly, the NTVDM within XP is completely isolated from the OS (a Virtual DOS Machine), so you should be able to bypass most crashes by saving your position, quitting the game, restarting the game, and loading your saved position every two hours.
-> Do you have your game without any crash at all until the end ?
Can't really tell you as I have yet to really play the game. I mostly test games, not play them.
One day, when we have stable protected-mode emulation in a tool like DosBox, we should be able to run it without crashes. Until then, using the save/quit/restart/reload method I described above, you should be able to enjoy the game in a fairly stable way.
