Hey all 😀

I'm trying to get Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition to run in DOSBox. Actually, it runs just fine on its own if I tell it to run compatible for Windows 95 and 256 colors, as per the readme's instructions. The main reason I want to run it in DOSBox is to have more control over it.
Anyway, when I run it in DOSBox, it runs slowly. Moving the cursor around, there's a delay on everything. I've tried increasing and decreasing the frame skip and cycles, with no success.

I'm not sure what kind of motherboard I have.
Dual processors: T2300 @ 1.66 GHz
1 GB of RAM
NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500M graphics card with 256 MB RAM
I'm not sure what sound card, but I know it's a SigmaTel, I believe a 920
Windows XP with SP2
Bust a Move 2: Arcade Edition
Running SB16 with a 44100 speaker rate
Running 2000 cycles, normal CPU, 0 frame skip, VGA video card
DOSBox .70 and D-Fend v2

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😀
