Hi Everyone, I am new here and a beginner with Computers, please be patient with me. I am trying to get the sound to work on a game called Dune 2. Vlad told me what to download, but I am at a loss of how to make it work. I am running Windows ME, with a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Gammer, ATI 7200 Video Card. I would appretiate any help that you could give me.

Thanks Snover, you aren't the first person to tell me that. I am seriously thinking of changing, all I've had are problems with this OS. Everytime I get an update (live update) something else gets screwed up.😜

You might try reading up on Axcel216's tips about ME:

Check out his list of upgrades/fixes:

Especially important are one of the 3 DOS "patches/fixes":

If his http://users.aol.com/axcel216/ address is busy, try his http://members.aol.com/axcel216/ address. Either way those AOL servers can get "busy".

Here are the direct links for three of the unofficial patches for "re-enabling" DOS in ME:

http://www.surfsites.net/deadknight/wmedos/

BTW, Axcel216 tends to use a lot of technical jargon, but just be patient and read carefully and you'll find huge amounts of info.

http://members.aol.com/axcel216/wme.htm is the WinME Tweaks, Secrets, BUGs + FIXes page.
