I recently got Privateer 2. I have a 98se machine that can work the game. My only problem is that my mouse is a USB. Dos here for some reason won't recognise the USB mouse. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.
Either use USB drivers or a USB->PS/2 Adapter

Does your motherboard support USB mice at the BIOS level?

If not, I don't believe that DOS will be able to "see" the mouse. Also, be aware that on more recent machines, "Privateer 2" runs so fast that it's unplayable. That would be depend on the speed of your processor...which we don't know.

There's a patch, but it's for the Windows version and you apparently have the DOS version.
