Can someone plz talk me through how you get a Ms DOS cd to work on my pc using DOSBox???

Firstly im so sorry because i have no idea about computers and therefore come across as slightly retarded 🤣
So i have no idea whats relevent so i'll just tell you what i know i've recently got a cd of old Amiga games and when i tried to run it found i needed something called DOSBox, which i then downloaded and ive tried to work it and read intructions on how it worked but i just seem to fail. I know its probably really simple but i seriously I am almost computer illiterate!
The cd is in drive (e: ) erm not sure what else you may need to know so if ANYONE could help me i would be VERY grateful 😀
oh and my computer is a windows vista

"A CD of old Amiga games".

Are these images copied to a CD and then run under an Amiga emulator or are they games ported from the Amiga to MS-DOS or Windows?

mount d e:\ -t cdrom

Please read through the guides at this forum as well as the readme,
and post more specific information about the actual problem if it
still doesn't work for some reason.

Further, with a cdrom full of AMIGA games you won't have too much
luck with DOSBox (which targets at DOS games).
