With the new beta release of SCUMMVM BASS finally runs really well BUT ... it doesn't matter which language I chose in the install menu it always starts in english. Is there a was to fix this? I persume not because of the way SCUMMVM works but perhaps I am wrong.

You must start ScummVM with the -qxx command line option where xx is you language (fr for french de for german, etc..). Read the ScummVM readme for more info.

Just create a shortcut or a bat file with the parameters in it.
