DOSBox is for playing DOS games not for transfering files back and forth between computers. Use your host PC and a network card in the client PC for that.

Also, if you use DOSBox to play games then use a recent version of DOSBox . DOSBox 0.63 was released in 2004. It's now 2008.

Dosbox no soporta drivers de dispositivo, y creo que no lo soportará. Si vas a insistir en usar interlnk/intersvr, deberías usar un disco de arranque DOS. El problema es que DOS no soporta FAT32 ni NTFS (aunque no estoy seguro de si el DOS que lleva Windows 98 dejaría usarlos), así que la mejor opción sería usar un disco de arranque con FreeDOS (FreeDOS permite usar FAT32, pero no sé si funcionará bien con interlnk/intersvr).

Otra opción sería usar una máquina virtual con MS-DOS y transferir los ficheros desde ahí, o usar un laplink o el Comandante Norton, que también permitían transferir ficheros por serie o paralelo. La opción más extrema sería tener una partición DOS en el disco duro.

Hace tiempo vi un programa que cargaba drivers de dispositivos desde la línea de comandos... ¿funcionaría esto en Dosbox?

Dosbox don't allow device drivers, and I'm afraid that it won't change. If you really need interlnk/intersrv, you'll have to use a DOS boot disk. MS-DOS won't work with FAT32 nor NTFS partitions (but I'm not sure if Windows 98 DOS will access FAT32), so your best bet will be a FreeDOS boot disk (FreeDOS will work with FAT32 partitions, but I don't know if it will work with interlnk/intersrv).

Another option would be use an MS-DOS virtual machine and get the files, or use laplink or Norton Commander, that will allow to use serial/parallel connections. Also, you can have a MS-DOS partition in your hard drive.

Some time ago, I saw a program that loaded device drivers from command line... would it work in Dosbox?

device.com from qemm, or devload.exe (freeware),
but both are limited and especially limited under dosbox
(no block devices etc.)
