Would Wing Commander II run under Windows XP, under any conditions (ie: Dosbox, moslo, that sort of thing)? Or am I going to have to install DOS itself?

While we're at it, is it particularly difficult to install DOS as well as Windows XP on one system? There are quite a few old games I'd like to play again, and Windows XP in particular seems to hate them. Fewer and fewer of my old games are able to run on my system as I upgrades OSs...

According to NT Compatible, it works fine with VDMSound. 😀

(I was actally about to post again with a different problem, since I managed to find a copy of the game on some abandonware site. Originally I would have had to find someone with a 5 1/4 in floppy drive to burn by copy of WC2 onto CD, so I wanted to know what I'd have to do to run the game before going to that trouble. I was having other problems running that copy, but this has fixed them 😁 )
