Okay, so I have the Yamaha S-YXG50 VSTi, and with the VSTi are included two .TBL files (sxgbin41.tbl and Sxgwave4.tbl). The only program that I've found that can open let alone interpret these files is the S-YXG50 itself. Is there any program that utilize these two files or convert them to a usable format?

Thanks,

Looks like no one has been able to figure this out yet. Even Awave Studio doesn't have it listed.

Best you can do is find the Yamaha XG soundfont that's floating around the Internet and give it a listen (if you haven't already).

Ooohh, the pain......

Uhh, no. Most XG effects and instruments are unachievable with the use of a soundfont, but maybe I could sample all of the instruments from the S-YXG50, do you know of a program that can sample VSTis?

Never used a sampler before. I did some google searching and came up with these two sites:

http://www.musicradar.com/us/news/tech/4-of-t … -plugins-616807

http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2010/09/28/bp … -vsti-samplers/

Also found this thread at Cockos Confederated Forums:

Maybe one of these plugins will work, as long as Yamaha didn't encrypt the .TBL files.

Ooohh, the pain......

Okay then, since nobody knows what the .TBL files are included with the S-YXG50, can anyone decrypt the .TBL files included with the S-YXG2006LE (SGP2.DLL)? I've heard that they are in a completely different format.

Uhh, guys? If you don't know, then that's fine (I guess), but can you at least tell me?

If someone reads the thread, has info, and wants to help you, they'll post. Otherwise it's safe to assume that no-one has an answer for you.
