Hello Everyone,

I have got Romance of the Three Kingdoms I and Bandit Kings of Ancient China. I can play them on DOSBox but there is no music and sound. The only exception is some sounds while determining the skill values of the masters in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

I really don't remember if they had music or not. In Youtube videos DOS versions do not have sound but Amiga or NES versions have. Is there a way to get sound? In Youtube videos I have only seen L'Empereur with sound in this series.

I will be very happy if someone can remember if the original ones have sound or not.

According to MobyGames, the only Koei DOS games that support Adlib music are :

Celtic Tales: Balor of the Evil Eye
Gemfire
Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf
L'Empereur
Liberty or Death
New Horizons
Romance of the Three Kingdoms II
Uncharted Waters

Note the absence of the earlier games, they only support PC Speaker.

What about the newer games? For example Romance of the Three Kingdoms 3 is not in the list. Do they use another kind of music support?
