I've been trying all day to get this game to run on xp. I've read so many different directions and i've tried everything. I'm so close now to getting it to run but I ran into another error..

Problem: When starting the game, you get the error message "Cannot load resource 999.pal". (DOS version)

Please.. please please help me correct this problem, I would greatly appreciate it!

This is a generic error comes from the game not finding its resouces. Be sure that the paths in your config file point to your CD. I
