I have a dream ... it is to play serfcity with my friend.

I have tried hard, but no.

First of all, I have read all there is to read about the two player for settlers.

There is what I have tried:

First I tried with PCI com card. I used dosbox and also I wrote the
serial2=directserial realport:com2 irq4 ( I tried with different Irq and com1 as well)

What I got is:
dosbox says: framing error with some data and the mouse does not move at all.

I thought maybe the PCI card is faulty, so I got another one. Same thing.
So maybe something wrong with PC. So I tried with 2 other PCs. Same thing.
Finally I got one bit older computer with built in com port.
I got this that mouse is moving, but really randomly and does not react to clicks etc as it should. So impossible to use.
Maybe the mouse is wrong. So I got another mouse - at the moment I have one logitech mouse with 3 buttons and a genius mouse.
Both of them are working well if I just use them normally.

Finally I got a really old pc. I installed dos there. It has two com ports installed.
I have two com mouse. Its like it should be.
I run original dos 6.22 and I put on the serfcity.
It does the same thing - One mouse is just moving really randomly. So I tried to move the mouses around, same thing.

Maybe it is the game, I thought. So I found original disks. I install the new game from original one. Still the bloody same thing.

What am I doing wrong. I can not think of anything any more. If someone has got it working, please share the secret.
