Has anyone been able to successfully run the CD-ROM version of this original classic with dosbox 0.61?

I can view the intro movie, and access the files on the cd no problem (which leads me to believe the problem isn't mounting), and the opening video plays the sound fine (music I'm not sure)... but when I try running can.exe, it crashes dosbox completely, either full-screen or windowed...

any thoughts?
