I really need help with this game. I really love playing it, so it would be nice if i could get it to work right.

In Uncharted Waters: New Horizons when you fight other ships you have the option to challange the captain of a ship to a dual. If i select this option ( wich is one of the better options in the game) It locks op and says that their is and error with my memory allocation and that command.com won't be innitiated or something( sorry if this makes little sense, my pc is in dutch and translating it is difficult)

the specs of my pc are
Amd Athlon 3200+
2.19 GHz
512 mb RAM
