Hello all,

Running win98, and when I try to run a game (Wing Commander: Privateer) I get:

"Protected mode driver is not responding to EMS function calls.
Make sure your EMS driver is not configured with the NOEMS option.
If it is, replace the option "NOEMS" with "RAM"."

I've checked the C:\config.sys file, and it's totally blank. And the config.sys file in C:\windows has nothing that even mentions EMS. So... what's wrong and how can I fix this? Thanks gents.

change in dosbox.conf
the line
ems=true
to
ems=false

in windows 98:
you can just add the line
device=c:\windows\emm386.exe ram
to config.sys
But personally I think you should google for myjemm
