My understanding of Canadian, EU, and German law regarding the legal ownership of backup copies does not mandate the owner store their outdated and defective media indefinitely to be used as proof of ownership in the near or distant future.

In 85 I owned the Axel F tape, which I played on repeat-rewind until the tape was eventually eaten and I removed it in a giant ball. Being Canadian, I'm allowed to own those same tracks in any other medium, even those not derived directly from my exact physical tape that I originally owned. A Canadian auditor is not going expect me to have kept the ball of tape in a shoebox for the last 33 years as proof. (yes, music and software are handled differently, but the rules regarding backups across time and media formats holds true).

This is all just FYI though; you're free to mandate any additional stipulations and requirements as you desire for any personal transactions that go above and beyond your country's legal baseline.

Thanks. But it seem is a 720kb diskimage. I forgot to mention i have the 1.44mb version of the game with 7 disks.

Well, I can give you a download for the whole 720k set if you like. At least that would get you up and running.

That might work. I looked at some disks and they have files that are identical to installed versions which you can download at abandon sites. The difference is that those "installed" files are bigger. It seems origin packed them individual files and put them on disks. So if the files on the 720kb version are just arranged in a different matter it might work.
