The original DOS release of Theme Park is the most speed sensitive title I've found, everything seems too fast for a reasonable passing of in-game time.
Does anyone know what CPU the developers were targeting?
I've even read of people disabling cache on a 66Mhz 486 to run the game properly.
Screw period correct; I wanted a faster system back then. I choose no dropped frames, super fast loading, fully compatible and quiet operation.
