I dl'ed LB1 from abandonware site but I can't install it. I get to the point where it asks what drive I want to install to and as soon as I hit the button it kicks out and says "bad command or filename". If I try to run sierra.com or sierra.bat it just hangs at the promt. I'm not using DosBox or anything alse, just trying to run in straight XP command prompt.

Anybody? I'm not picky, I'll take blind conjecture if you have it. Or maby someone could tell me which files went on which disks originally.

Depends on how this was packaged. Most sierra games you can just dump the contents of the CD or floppies to a dir on your hard drive, then just run the install.exe from there to setup your sound. If the install.exe is busted, its still easy to simply edit the resource.cfg in a text editor and change the sound driver and paths manually.
