I used to play Are You Afraid of the Dark on my computer and it was an awesome game, but when I got a new motherboard and a new version of windows the game never worked again and every so often I would try to install it but my efforts were fruitless. Recently, I got reall close to making it work but it gives me a message about my soundcard. I'm using a soundblaster 16 which is the recommended card and the game can't run without sound. I know absolutely nothing about computers or the DOS operating system. Can anybody help me? I'm using Windows XP.
