How do i get sound (real sound, and music <if there is)on
ultima 6????please help me with this....because i have sound on all the other ultima games without ultima 1 2 and 6....its because of thet, i need sound to ultima 6.....i beg you...please help me with this.......

use vdms with ultima 6
I have already tried that...but it doesnt work....i only get speaker sound..but i want real sound 😀

for music you have to choose the sound device in the install of Ultima6.
For sound effects you are screwed as ultima6 only uses pc-speakers. Only workaround is to use Dosbox.

For the same reason you don't put a steam engine in a 1966 Mustang. VDMSound is a soundcard emulator. Using a PC speaker for sound is nothing like using a soundcard. Basically, he would have to write a separate program just for speaker audio.
Since Ultima 6 runs insanely fast on modern PC's, the best bet is to use DosBox, choose AdLib audio, and use it's ability to slow down the program to just a few cycles.
CTRL-Z turns sounds ON/OFF. I spent 3 hours before I realized this. If the sound(music) stops right after the intro, try CTRL-Z.
