Can Wing Commander Privateer run from within Windows 98 without rebooting into DOS? I get an EMS error when trying to run the game. It would be nice if I could get it to work without the extra step to reboot.

I tried this on my HP thin client today, but it crashes immediately. It could be the VIA chipset or the oddball Transmeta CPU. Who knows.
Try running the install program and change your sound card to none for both digital sound and music. If the game works with no sound then go back to the install program and setup your sound card again.
