I'm using a Asus P4P800-E Deluxe motherboard, 3.4GHz CPU, 512MB DDR.

After lots of tampering, when I disable my onboard RAID I get the EMM memory freed up in a Windows XP dos window.

Anyone know of a workaround for fiddling with the Promise RAID controller to free up EMS memory? (without actually having to disable the RAID).

thanks,

Thanks Xian.. that's the thread that brought me to this forum.. I read it through without much luck... their problem was a bit different though. Mine is specicially the RAID card.

The ASUS technical support hasn't been very useful... this is their response. (anyone willing to attempt translating this???)
