I've seen a couple of posts in these forums suggesting that the original Screamer had a 3dfx patch. I've serached quite a bit through google but all I could find are patches for Screamer 2 and Screamer Rally.

Can anyone confirm for sure that a 3dfx patch for the original exists and if so where it could be obtained?

No, the original Screamer only existed in a DOS software version.

Screamer Rally was the first of the Screamer series to add support for 3Dfx and other accelerators of the time, then the programmers made a patch for Screamer2 as both games are very similar.

But Screamer never got a 3D patch 😒
