That is very interesting. Thanks for the link - the extcd.sys really recognizes the drive, the letter appears, but unfortunately, when I try to open the CD, I get an error, that drive is not ready.
I tried to load the driver with a tool devloader.com, which let's you load the driver in command line. What I get is:
USB CD Detected
EXTCD001 Device installed
Sector size too large, drive(s) skipped.
When trying to acced the cd drive:
CDR103: CDROM not High Sierra r ISO-9660 format reading drive D
The CD is original win98se CD.
My dvd drive ir Optiarc DVD+/-RW AD-7585H
Any Ideas?
