I have a very generic wireless usb mouse. (One small modern convenience for my retro system, haha)

Fresh install of freedos, I can confirm that the USBDOS package is installed, when freedos boots I see a message from cutemouse saying "device not found", and in Duke3d the mouse is not detected.

However, the mouse is detected automatically with my Windows 98 install.

How can I get this mouse working in freedos?

I don't see any references to directly supporting usb mice on the cutemouse homepage.

You would normally have to enable legacy input support in your bios to remap usb keyboard and mouse to the relevant PS2 io ports. Does your board have that support?

The usbdos documentation implies it has its own drivers for several types of devices... I would think you will need to use them, not cutemouse.
