I got it installed and running with disabled sound accel.

Ive been running it in software mode because I was having too much fun playing the single player game. hehe

Also my wife has been playing it, so maybe we have a 3rd. Shes not too good, like a wimpy AI player. 😀 That could change.

Ive got to run a few test in d3d and even maybe try 3dfx.

My mums computer is quite new, and it can run nearly anything else, but in Interstate it freezes when i click on options, Trip Melee, anything, it just freezes... Whaa??

works fine though on mine.

goto start-run

type in dxdiag

click on sound

slide the sound accerlator to the left for no sound acceleration

play I76

remember renable sound acceleration after play I76 for more modern games.

this works on XP and below. But not for Vista, directx is locked on Vista (POS)

I also got interstate 82 now. Its insane. I just got passed the mall level, and then it crashes. Great. 🙁

Is there a way of fixing that? I mean, I dont really care about single player, I just want online. But it would be interesting to see the story unfold.

I82 was a buggy flop of a game, so a fix is unlikely
