Hi everyone,
After installing the Windows 98 into my PC, I needed to install the unofficial update packages, called as U98sesp3. After that, I realize that any internet explore pages (I think they are HTML pages) are not shown
Even when I click the Help topics, I can see the listing on the left side pane, but when I click it, it does not show anything on the right pane. It sounds like the text's are not shown
Anybody knows how to fix this problem?

As i mentioned in my post, i tried to install and use W98SE on my modern Notebook. i encountered the same issue as u, and wondered a bit about.
but i'm using the vbem driver and the command.com is not really compatible in window mode with this driver until i go back to 16 color.
as i switched to 16 bit color, the mentioned error of yours disappeared as well which is really strange. so basically my advice to you: go back to 16 color and u can work with ur windows folder. 🤣 i know, not the best solution but at least it works 😁
