Since yesterday I'm a proud owner of a Voodoo 2 SLI 😜
But Need For Speed II and Fifa 98 refuse to run in their Glide Versions.
Before the current setup,I had a Voodoo 1 and both games asked me whether to use software rendering or 3dfx hardware rendering(glide). But this didn't happen with this one.Instead both games run very smooth but with not the best graphics.
So anyone knows the solution?

The Need for Speed II Wiki mentions the problem for the Special Edition version:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Need_for_Speed_II

"Q: Why does the game Need for Speed II SE from Electronic Arts fail to load
in 3dfx mode?

A: There is a known issue with the the game Need for Speed II SE's detection
process. Please copy the NFS2SEA.EXE file from the ROOT directory of the
game CD-ROM into the Need for Speed directory onto the system hard drive.
Set up a new shortcut for this file to run Need for Speed II SE."

Strange, FIFA 98 always detected a 2nd card for me. However, it needs a voodoo2 patch or it will crash in half-time.

Where can I find this patch?Maybe it activates the weather effects and stuff like the voodoo 1 did!

Yeah many effects aren't available with SLI enabled.
Even with 1 card not all effects are available.
