I Installed the game together with the Gold 1.06 patch, with or without it the game keeps giving me a "won error: please insert the game CD" when I try to start the single player campaign, then I installed a nocd patch , no dice...

I'm running Windows 98 SE, there's a "online" fix but this comp doesn't have a internet connection, has anyone managed to get this working?

I just reinstalled the Platinum Edition, it's working fine on Windows 7, and even better with the widescreen patch.
