A demo can be found here: http://www.sdispace.com/inspace.htm
Ironically it says that it works unmodified on Win3.1 up to XP. Which is true safe for the Joystick support.
That doesn't work anymore in NT based systems.
Things I tried:
- since I'm a registered user I contacted SDI about it but they answered me that it is very unlikely that they would try to fix that 🙁 (if anyone cares I can put up the whole conversation).

- tried a keybinder to let my joystick be used like it was the keyboard but that is not working like it worked with its own joystick support.

- of course VDMS doesn't work for a Windows game

Anyone got any idea?

Are you using a USB joystick or an analogue joystick? The problem could be that it is polling your gameport instead of polling Windows' Game Controllers.

Yes, it’s my fault.

ok, that wasn't the problem. Just attached my Gameport joystick and didn't work as well.
Thinking of it, even if it tried to access the gameport directly it shouldn't work in NT as NT forbids direct hardware access, doesn't it?
Any other ideas?

I tried in Windows ME and there it works fine with an USB joystick.
